Home Bread Baking in a Wood-Fired Oven
Say no to supermarket bread! Come and learn the
basic skills of bread making that you can take home to use all year round. Experience using Bee UrbanÕs
outdoor wood-fired cob oven to bake your breads!
This introductory course will cover a range of
easy to make yeast and sourdough breads, that you can easily reproduce at home
in a regular oven. You will learn
the basic skills to mix, knead, raise and bake your own bread. You will also get a live sample
sourdough starter culture to take away with you and keep, to get your home
bread production growing. Since
itÕs Bee Urban, weÕll also be incorporating honey into a couple of the breads,
and some of herbs/produce from the garden, too.
The course will be held in 3 sessions over 3
consecutive weekends in April. All
breads will be baked in Bee UrbanÕs outdoor wood-fired cob oven.
